Nationality is really just one of countless influences that shape and define an individual. Everybody is unique in background, biology, and spirit, no matter which country they inhabit. My worldview probably sounds corny to a lot of people. That said, I have to confess that an English accent is irresistable. It's also resfreshing to have conversations with people who live in a different environment, or receive their news and entertainment from sources that I'm not so familiar with. It's nice to be exposed to new things now and then. For those reasons, I tend to be somewhat more attracted to women from the UK. Most of the Brits, of both sexes, whom I've met here in the US don't seem as wishy-washy as some of the other natives oh muy gawhd. They have beliefs and can articulate them. They are aware of whats going on in the world around them and think about how it affects them. This may be because the only Brits we see are the ones who have enough world sense to travel, and all of the wishy-washy poofer types stay at home. I remember going though a phase in school where I wrote all of my 'English' papers with British spellings then brought into school a copy of the OED to show that I had indeed spelled them correctly. It could also have something to do with the accent, or proper pronunciation. I find that I am attracted to Aussies as well as Brits so it could even be they way you roll your 'R's. Perhaps it is just my romanticized impressions of my Welsh heritage and the fact that my real name is considerably more common there than it is here. English women were renown for lovely skin before travel to foreign places was affordable, for the simple reason theres no sun to lie in and bake oneself silly all day in summer in the UK! Well there never used to be until climate change! The heat now is unbearable and gee how come theres not air con offices. So wot do most of them do, take off to Spain and fry themselves silly. Art the end of the day, its thats your pasttime, by the time a woman turn thirty, your lookin like fifty! The man just loves a nice soft white pale skinned woman. I have to admit that I'm a bit of an anglo-phile so I tend to get week in the knees from a nice English accent, or Irish accent... And yes, the light skin and rosy cheeks are nice to me too. Personally, it always comes down to what's inside. She can be the most beautiful English rose, but a a rose, by any other name, with bad attitude would not smell so sweet to me. She's dark haired with very tanned skin.
